Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. As a singer, she has played in the margins of both traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she is a part of other music genres, such as hip-hop soul and trap. Flamenco musician Pepe habichuela described her voice as sweet and sharp, however she still with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer is her new album released in 2018, which had a huge commercial and critical reception. Following Los Angeles, her debut album her album was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as the Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami is her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry, James Blake along with other artists. The release came in March 2022, following the appearance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the very first Spanish singer to perform solo on the program. Motomami is her album, which won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to have won the Latin Album of the Year win twice.
